Welding
Caparo use the latest manual welding technology housed in clean room conditions to facilitate the “defect free” welding of Titanium, Nickel Alloys, Aluminium and Stainless and high alloy steels. All of which are subject to 100% radiographic and other non destructive inspection techniques.
Additionally Caparo Accles and Pollock utilse:
- Semi-automatic rotary TIG welding.
- Fully Automated Orbital Welding equipment from 4mm to 254mm Diameter with computerized weld parameter control.
- 6 axis robotic laser welding in clean room conditions that gives: low distortion, controlled penetration, excellent aesthetics, and a small heat affected zone.
